What is an HSR?
HSR stands for (Heart Sound Recorder) it is a modality that assess the heart by using a sensor that amplifies the hearts sounds and records it into software that allows us to visualize the rate, tone and rhythm of each valve.
Using this information we are able to identify nutritional, emotional and chemical stressors or deficiencies that will help our staff address critical issues to support the heart.

The Heart Sound Recorder (HSR) allows practitioners to evaluate the heart’s rate, rhythm, and tone with precision. In one example, a graph recorded at 3:30 p.m. revealed an abnormal heart rate, which was successfully supported with B vitamins (specifically B4). Within two hours of taking Cataplex B, the heart rate returned to normal. Beyond heart health, the HSR also detects autonomic nervous system imbalances and circulatory issues.
Utilizing a uniquely designed sensor unmatched by any other technology, the HSR enables practitioners to listen to and assess heart functionality, providing critical insights into nutritional status. This information helps guide personalized recommendations for nutrition, diet, and lifestyle adjustments to restore and maintain balance.
The HSR is a simple, highly effective, and non-invasive tool. The sensor is placed over the heart’s four valve areas, capturing detailed data that reveals the heart’s nutritional efficiency and circulatory health. Results can be saved, compared over time, and used to track patient progress, making the HSR an excellent complement to any healthcare practice.
By visualizing their progress through HSR graphs, patients can see the direct impact of their dietary choices, nutritional status, and lifestyle habits. This immediate feedback empowers them to take actionable steps toward better health after each visit.
#1 killer in the US is heart disease.
According to the CDC in 2019, in the United States:
- Someone has a heart attack every 40 seconds.
- One person dies every 36 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease.
- About 655,000 Americans die from heart disease each year—that’s 1 in every 4 deaths.
- About 1 in 5 heart attacks is silent—the damage is done, but the person is not aware of it.
Why should I get an HSR scan?
Many people remain unaware of heart issues until a major event, like a heart attack, sends them to the hospital—if they survive it. The Heart Sound Recorder (HSR) offers a valuable way to detect subtle irregularities in heart function early, often before they appear on traditional cardiac tests.
Your heart beats approximately 100,000 times each day, pumping around 2,000 gallons of blood throughout your body. With each beat, there is potential for inefficiency depending on your heart’s health. As the body’s most vital muscle, the heart responds rapidly to nutrition, absorbing essential nutrients quickly to maintain its crucial function and keep you alive.
